What this show actually looks like on the ground

ADIPEC 2025 closed with a record 239,709 attendees from 172 countries, a 17% rise on the previous edition, and organiser dmg events reported USD 46 billion transacted through around 35,000 cross-sector deals. All of it sits inside the ADNEC Centre, which the show spreads across 16 exhibition halls and more than 153,000 square metres.

Who exhibits

Some 2,250 companies take space across the full energy value chain, among them 54 national and international oil, gas and energy companies, plus 30 international country pavilions. Four specialised areas, the AI Zone, Low Carbon and Chemicals Zone, Maritime and Logistics Zone and Digitalisation Zone, split the audience into separate clusters, so a drilling services supplier and a carbon capture developer are effectively working two different shows.

Who attends

dmg events states that around 95% of the energy professionals here are a decision maker, purchaser or influencer. The Buyers and Sellers Report, produced with research consultancy GRS from a survey of attendees, put 32-35% at senior manager level and 15% at head of department. More than 80% of visitors arrive looking for market expansion. Sixty per cent reported securing deals or purchase commitments and over 40% gathered strong leads. Buy-side appetite concentrated on carbon capture at 49%, hydrogen at 32% and energy storage at 25%.

What an Event BDR rep does on this floor

Reps work the halls your own team cannot reach: the country pavilions, the NOC and IOC stands, the routes out of the conference rooms. They open the conversation, qualify against your criteria, commodity, project stage, procurement authority, timeline, and route only the ones that clear the bar back to your stand for a technical discussion. Everything is logged the same day rather than reconstructed from business cards on the flight home.

Why covering it is hard

Sixteen halls over four days is more ground than any stand team can physically walk. More than 16,000 conference delegates sit across 13 programmes and 380-plus sessions, so a large share of the most senior audience is in a room rather than an aisle at any given hour and surfaces only in the gaps between sessions. Miss those windows and you miss the buyer.

What Event BDR does at ADIPEC

We put checked, trained sales reps inside the exhibition for you. They cover the halls your own stand team cannot reach, check each visitor against the list you gave us, and either bring the right people to your stand or hand you a written record of who they were and what they are buying.

  • Reps are interviewed and approved before they are bookable. There is no open signup.
  • You tell them about your product and who you want to meet before the doors open.
  • Leads and meetings land in a live feed during the show, with a recap at the end of each day.
  • You pay for results: leads and meetings delivered, not hours spent standing at a stand.

ADIPEC exhibitor questions

Can more than one person from our company have access to the exhibitor manual?

No. The organiser states that only one person per exhibiting company can access the manual. That single user is the one who updates the exhibitor profile, sends personalised e-invitations, downloads web banners and uploads photos, videos and news, so nominate someone who will be reachable throughout the campaign.

What stand sizes can we request, and do we choose a zone when we book?

The organiser's stand booking form offers 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 25 and 30+ square metres. The same form asks you to select where you want to sit: General Exhibition, the Maritime & Logistics Zone, the Decarbonisation Zone or the Digitalisation in Energy Zone. The zone decision is therefore made at booking rather than later.

Which specialised zones and pavilions is the exhibition split into?

The exhibition runs a General Exhibition alongside four specialised zones: the AI Zone, the Low Carbon & Chemicals Zone, the Maritime & Logistics Zone and the Digitalisation Zone. The organiser also states the floor carries 30 country pavilions across more than 2,250 exhibitors, so national groupings sit alongside the sector zones.

Do our stand staff need a delegate pass to sit in on conference sessions?

Yes. The conference programme is a separate paid registration from exhibition entry, across 13 programmes: 11 strategic and 2 technical. The All Access delegate pass covers all 11 strategic plus both technical programmes, while the Technical pass covers only the two technical ones. Both delegate types include exhibition hall access, so a delegate can move onto the show floor, but an exhibition-only registration does not open the conference rooms.

What hours does our stand need to be staffed?

The exhibition floor opens at 10:00 every show day. It closes at 18:30 on each of the first three days and at 17:30 on the final day, so plan the last day's stand cover and any dismantle-day travel around the earlier close.

Where do badges get collected on site?

At registration desks by the main entrances outside Exhibition Halls 1, 8, 12, 13, 14 and 16, with additional information desks along the concourse. On a floor this size the desk your team uses determines which end of the hall they walk in from, which is worth deciding before the first morning rather than during it.
