A show the size of a small city

Global Health is held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, organised by Tahaluf under the patronage of the Saudi Ministry of Health and aligned to the Health Sector Transformation Programme. The 2025 edition closed with 130,000-plus attendees, 2,200 exhibiting brands and 607 speakers, of whom 307 were international. International attendance rose 54% on the previous year, and USD 35.5 billion of agreements were signed, including USD 8.4 billion in hospital and healthcare infrastructure and USD 625 million in life sciences.

Who exhibits and who buys

Exhibitor zones cover medical devices, imaging and radiology, laboratory, dental, orthopaedics and rehabilitation, disposables, life sciences, digital health, healthcare and general services, start-ups and government. Roche Diagnostics, BD, Olympus META and WuXi AppTec have all appeared on the floor, alongside NUPCO, Health Holding, Dallah Health and HAYAT National Hospitals.

Buyers are hospital and clinic management, procurement leads, dealers and distributors, ministers and policymakers, investors, clinicians attending for CME credit, and academics. The 2025 edition ran more than 20 country pavilions, up from 12 the year before, with the USA, Turkey, China, Italy, Germany, the UK, Finland, Canada, Taiwan, Pakistan and South Korea represented.

Why Malham defeats a single stand

The venue grew three new exhibition halls and around 40% more floorspace for the 2025 edition. It sits outside the city, with limited parking, free shuttle buses from Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud University and SAB metro station, and 13-plus catering outlets spread across the halls. Attendees arrive in waves tied to shuttle timings and CME session breaks, then stay near whichever hall they landed in. With 130,000 people over four days and dozens of parallel forums, no stand team of three or four sees more than a slice of the show.

Putting reps where your stand is not

Reps are briefed on your device, diagnostic or service line, then deployed to the halls and pavilions you are not in. They identify procurement and clinical decision-makers, qualify in Arabic or English against your criteria, book stand meetings during the show, and return each lead with the hospital group, budget owner and next step attached.

What Event BDR does at Global Health Saudi

We put checked, trained sales reps inside the exhibition for you. They cover the halls your own stand team cannot reach, check each visitor against the list you gave us, and either bring the right people to your stand or hand you a written record of who they were and what they are buying.

  • Reps are interviewed and approved before they are bookable. There is no open signup.
  • You tell them about your product and who you want to meet before the doors open.
  • Leads and meetings land in a live feed during the show, with a recap at the end of each day.
  • You pay for results: leads and meetings delivered, not hours spent standing at a stand.

Global Health Saudi exhibitor questions

Does our stand design have to meet the organiser's Better Stands requirements?

The organiser runs a Better Stands programme asking exhibitors and their contractors to move away from disposable, single-use stands in favour of reusable structures. Stands are graded across 10 construction elements: Fully Disposable, Bronze at four elements reused or recycled, Silver at eight and Gold at ten. Compliance is monitored throughout the event cycle, from stand plan submission through to on-site review.

What hours do we need the stand staffed?

The exhibition floor opens at 09:30 on the opening day and at 10:00 on each of the following three days. It closes at 19:00, except on the final day when it closes at 18:00.

Which sectors is the show zoned into, and can we see the floorplan before booking?

The organiser lists the featured sectors as Orthopedics & Rehabilitation, Dental, Dermatology & Aesthetics, Digital Health, Medical Devices, Pharma & Lab, Imaging & Radiology, Healthcare Services, and Start-ups & Wellness, with the first three new for this edition. The floorplan is not published on the website: it is issued, with the sales brochure, on request through the stand enquiry route.

What official backing does the show have, and who makes up the buyer audience?

The organiser states the exhibition is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Health and is positioned against Vision 2030 and the Health Sector Transformation Program. It describes the buyer base as hospital and clinic decision-makers, pharma, lab, imaging and medical device buyers, government buyers and health authorities, distributors and agents, tech founders, and healthcare investors.

How does the conference programme run alongside the exhibition?

The conference splits into dedicated forums running alongside the show floor: the Leaders Summit for ministers and global chief executives, the MEDX Forum on clinical excellence, the Digital Health Forum on AI, data and digital infrastructure, and the Capital Xchange Forum on investment and partnerships. This edition adds the Leaders' Club, Pulse Studio, HealthTech Live demonstrations, a Power Breakfast Series and peer discussion sessions.
