Exhibitor lead generation
Arab Health Exhibition
The gap between visits and people
Arab Health, which now runs as WHX Dubai under Informa, reports more than 235,000 professional visits against just over 90,000 unique attendees. Those two numbers do different jobs: the first counts entries, the second counts human beings. Plan your stand coverage off the headline traffic figure and you will badly misjudge how thinly your real buyer pool is spread.
Who exhibits
More than 4,200 exhibiting brands, organised into eight product sectors: medical devices and equipment, pharma and biotech, labs and diagnostics, imaging and radiology, orthopaedics and rehabilitation, healthcare services and infrastructure, wellness and longevity, and disposables and consumables. The most recent edition ran 4,300 exhibitors with 32 country pavilions. China, Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom and South Korea took their largest presence to date, and Croatia, Slovakia and Thailand exhibited for the first time.
Who attends
Informa describes the audience as healthcare providers and hospital leaders, manufacturers, laboratory and diagnostics professionals, distributors, investors, founders and policymakers, drawn from more than 195 countries. For most exhibitors the commercially useful slice is narrow: regional distributors and agents, hospital group procurement heads, and ministry or health authority buyers from the GCC and wider MENA region.
What an Event BDR rep does here
The job on this floor is distributor and agent discovery. Reps work the pavilion clusters where regional importers concentrate, ask the questions that actually decide a medical device deal, territory coverage, existing portfolio, regulatory registration capability, service and after-sales, and book stand appointments only for those that clear the bar. Clinician and student traffic is triaged separately so your technical staff stay free for buyers.
Why this floor is hard to cover
The show now runs across two venues, with the main exhibition at Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City and the labs event at Dubai World Trade Centre, the first time in the event's fifty-year history that the main hall moved away from DWTC. Six CME-accredited conferences and three flagship stages pull clinical and executive decision-makers off the exhibition floor for hours at a stretch. A team that stays at its own stand meets whoever happens to walk past, which is not the same as meeting its market.

What Event BDR does at Arab Health Exhibition
We put checked, trained sales reps inside the exhibition for you. They cover the halls your own stand team cannot reach, check each visitor against the list you gave us, and either bring the right people to your stand or hand you a written record of who they were and what they are buying.
- Reps are interviewed and approved before they are bookable. There is no open signup.
- You tell them about your product and who you want to meet before the doors open.
- Leads and meetings land in a live feed during the show, with a recap at the end of each day.
- You pay for results: leads and meetings delivered, not hours spent standing at a stand.
Arab Health Exhibition exhibitor questions
What stand options can we book?
The organiser offers four exhibiting formats: Startup Pods, Shell Scheme, Space Only stands and Country Pavilions. Shell Scheme is a ready-built stand, so your team can focus on meeting buyers from the first morning, while Space Only is floor space for a bespoke design and build. The format is confirmed with the sales team when you complete the stand booking form.
How is our stand location decided?
Locations are allocated on availability, product sector and booking date, and the organiser states that booking early gives access to a wider choice. Planning is sector-led, so placement is driven by putting you near the buyers, distributors and decision-makers relevant to your products rather than by raw footfall.
Which product sector do we register our stand under?
The stand application asks you to declare your core products against the published sector list, and that declaration feeds into where you are placed. The organiser lists eight exhibitor sectors: medical devices and equipment, pharma and biotech, labs and diagnostics, wellness and longevity, healthcare services and infrastructure, orthopaedics and rehabilitation, imaging and radiology, and disposables and consumables.
We used to exhibit at Medlab Middle East. Do we still book a separate lab show?
No. The laboratory and diagnostics community that was Medlab Middle East, and then WHX Labs, is now part of the flagship World Health Expo as a dedicated Labs Zone. The organiser states the specialist audience, dedicated content and community remain, now connected to the wider healthcare ecosystem, so lab and diagnostics companies book into the main event.
Several WHX events run together. Which one should we exhibit at?
Three events run alongside each other under World Healthcare Week, split by purpose: World Health Expo covers healthcare products, equipment and trade; WHX Tech covers digital health, AI and healthcare technology; and WHX Leaders covers leadership, policy, investment and strategic partnerships. The organiser says the right choice depends on your products, audience and business objectives.
Can under-16s come onto our stand?
No. The organiser restricts entry to the exhibition halls to attendees aged 16 and above, so under-16s cannot be brought in with your stand team. There are also no childcare facilities on site.
