Beautyworld Middle East exhibitor guide: 22 halls

Beautyworld Middle East spreads across 22 halls at the Dubai World Trade Centre, and your stand occupies one aisle of one of them. This Beautyworld Middle East exhibitor guide covers what the 2026 rename changed, where beauty and personal care distribution buyers actually walk, and how to build floor coverage you can staff and measure. Every date and figure below comes from the organiser or the venue.

The show is now called Beautyworld Dubai

Messe Frankfurt Middle East renamed the fair for its 30th edition. It runs 6 to 8 October 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, 10:00 to 18:00 daily. Show Director Ravi Ramchandani framed the change around the market rather than the calendar: "Dubai is no longer somewhere brands come to sell. It is where brands are being built." The announcement also confirmed over 220 fragrance exhibitors across 19,000 sqm and four live stages for the 2026 edition.

Three practical consequences:

  • Search results, directory listings and your prospects' inboxes still carry the old name. Run pre-show outreach under both names for at least one cycle.
  • Badge and contract paperwork uses Beautyworld Dubai. Your CRM campaign names almost certainly do not. Align them before the show, or your lead attribution will split across two labels.
  • The show is trade only and restricted to visitors aged 18 and over. Do not plan around consumer footfall.

The dates that actually constrain you

The organiser's exhibitor services page sets the operating windows:

  • Space-only contractor access: 3 to 5 October, 08:00 to 16:00
  • Shell scheme exhibitor access: 5 October, 14:00 to 20:00
  • Show open: 6 to 8 October, 10:00 to 18:00
  • Exhibitor and contractor access on show days: 07:00 to 09:00
  • Dismantling: from 20:00 on 8 October until 17:00 on 9 October

A strict "NO VEST & SAFETY SHOES – NO ENTRY" policy applies during build-up and dismantling. Contractor passes are digital and issued through the Contractor+ platform, so a printed pass will not get anyone through the door. Brief your stand builder on both points in writing.

The number that should decide your staffing

The 2025 edition drew a record 85,297 visitors from 178 countries and more than 2,500 exhibitors from 68 countries, across 22 halls after six were added. Attendance rose nearly 20% on 2024, and international visitors by almost 31%.

Now run the arithmetic on your own stand. Those 85,297 visitors arrive over three days, so roughly 28,000 people are in the venue on an average day, distributed across 22 halls.

A realistic single-person throughput looks like this. A disciplined qualifying conversation takes about 90 seconds. Add the approach, the walk between conversations, note-taking and the inevitable dead air, and six minutes per attempt is a fair working assumption. That is ten attempts an hour, 80 in an eight-hour day, 240 across the show.

That is a ceiling on attempts, not a forecast of leads. How many convert depends on footfall in your aisle, your stand position, your offer, and how tightly you define a qualified lead. But it makes the staffing question concrete: two people on a stand can attempt roughly 480 conversations over three days, and every one of them happens within a few metres of your own carpet. If your buyers are walking Za'abeel while you are in Sheikh Saeed, headcount at the stand will not reach them. Our note on how many staff you need at a trade show booth works through the split between stand cover and floor cover.

Who actually buys in beauty and personal care

Beautyworld is a distribution show before it is a brand show. Six buyer types recur, and they want different things from the same 90 seconds:

  • Regional distributors holding GCC or MENA territory. They want exclusivity terms, registration support and minimum order quantities.
  • Retail chain and pharmacy buyers. They want listing economics, shelf-ready packaging and a supply record.
  • Salon and spa group buyers. They want professional-only ranges, training and back-bar pricing.
  • Private label and contract manufacturing buyers. They want formulation capability, lead times and certification.
  • E-commerce and marketplace operators. They want landed cost, content assets and fulfilment terms.
  • Packaging and ingredient buyers, heavily concentrated around the fragrance and prestigepack sectors.

Only the first four will place the kind of order most exhibitors have budgeted the stand against. The rest are real business but on a different cycle. Sorting them at the point of contact is the whole job. GCC buying committees also tend to send a scout first and the decision-maker later, which changes what a good first conversation looks like.

Five questions that sort a beauty buyer in ninety seconds

Ask in this order. Stop when you have enough to route the person.

  1. "Which markets do you cover?" Territory first. It disqualifies faster than anything else.
  2. "Are you buying for your own shelves, or placing with retailers?" This splits distributor from retailer in one answer.
  3. "What are you currently carrying in this category?" Names of incumbent brands tell you the price tier and whether you are a replacement or an addition.
  4. "When does your next listing or range review happen?" A date, or an admission that there is not one.
  5. "Who signs off alongside you?" Never "are you the decision-maker". Ask who else is in the room.

Write the answers down as answers, not as ticks. A scan record that says nothing beyond a job title is the main reason trade show leads go cold.

A hall-by-hall coverage plan

The venue's own 2026 event listing names the spaces in use: Al Multaqua Ballroom, Halls 1 to 8, the Pavilion, Sheikh Maktoum Hall, Sheikh Rashid Hall, Sheikh Saeed Halls 1 to 3, Trade Centre Arena, and Za'abeel Halls 1 to 6. That is 22 spaces.

Build coverage in three passes rather than trying to walk everything.

Pass one, before the show. Pull the exhibitor list and the visitor-facing sector map. Mark every hall that carries your adjacent categories, not your own. Your competitors are in your hall; your distributors are in theirs. A skincare brand's best prospects are often standing in packaging and supply-chain halls.

Pass two, the walk order. Rank the marked halls by how many target-type companies they contain, then by distance from your stand. Assign each person a named hall and a named window, not a vague brief to "work the floor". One hall per half-day is realistic. Two is not.

Pass three, the feature programmes. The Makeup Studio, Next in Beauty, BeautyLIVE, Next in Fragrance and Natural Notes each pull a self-selecting audience into a fixed location at a fixed time. Session breaks are the densest ten minutes on the floor and the only moment a senior buyer stands still.

A worked version for a mid-size skincare exhibitor with three people: one holds the stand for all eight hours, one takes two named halls per day on a half-day rotation, one works session breaks and pre-booked meetings. That is 22 halls reduced to six worked properly over three days, which is a plan. Attempting all 22 is not.

What do exhibitors ask about Beautyworld Middle East?

Is Beautyworld Middle East the same show as Beautyworld Dubai?

Yes. Messe Frankfurt Middle East renamed the fair for its 30th edition, held 6 to 8 October 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The venue, the organiser and the sector mix are unchanged. Only the name and the positioning moved. Expect both names in circulation for at least another edition, particularly in search results and third-party directories.

How many halls does Beautyworld cover?

The 2025 edition used 22 halls after six were added, and the venue's listing for 2026 names 22 spaces at the Dubai World Trade Centre. For planning purposes, treat it as a whole-venue show. A single stand sits in one of 22 spaces, which is the reason floor coverage and stand staffing are two separate budget lines.

When can I get into the hall on show days?

Exhibitors and contractors have access from 07:00 to 09:00 on show days, with doors open to trade visitors from 10:00 to 18:00. Build-up runs 3 to 5 October depending on stand type, and dismantling starts at 20:00 on 8 October. Confirm your own slot against the organiser's exhibitor services page, as stand type changes the window.

Which buyers are worth prioritising at a beauty trade show?

Territory holders first. A regional distributor with GCC coverage and an open range review is worth more than five brand-side visitors with no purchasing remit. Rank by buying authority and timing rather than by company size. A small salon group buying next quarter beats a large retailer whose listing window closed in August.

Where Event BDR fits

Event BDR places vetted, trained BDR reps on exhibition floors in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, so a show like this one is worked as 22 halls rather than as one stand. You pick specific reps for specific days and can add unpaid backups who are only charged if you activate them on a no-show. Leads and meetings arrive on a real-time feed during the day, with a recap at the end of it, so you can change hall assignments on day two instead of finding out afterwards. We do not promise a lead count: footfall, stand position and your own qualification bar decide that. What we can do is put trained people in the halls your buyers are actually walking. If you are exhibiting in October, start from the Beautyworld Middle East event page, and pair it with our post-show follow-up sequences before you leave the country.

Cover the whole floor at your next event.
