Exhibitor lead generation
Saudi Wood Expo
Who you are actually selling to
Saudi Wood Expo is a dmg events show, now in its third edition, and it carries two very different audiences in one hall. On one side sit specification buyers: architects, interior designers, project engineers and consultancy managers sourcing laminates, veneer, flooring, decking, doors and coatings for fit-out packages. On the other sit production buyers: factory managers, joinery owners, timber traders and procurement specialists buying hardwood and softwood, composites, adhesives, woodworking machinery, power tools and automation. The same badge scans at both ends of the aisle, and the badge itself rarely tells you which one you have.
The exhibitor mix and where it comes from
The organiser projects 200-plus exhibitors from more than 30 countries showing over 3,500 products, up from around 130 exhibitors and 7,500 trade visitors across the earlier editions. The 2025 directory shows the shape of it: strong Saudi representation in board, panel and machinery trading, alongside German, Italian, French and Portuguese machinery and component makers, plus suppliers from India, the UAE, Egypt, Jordan and Oman. dmg events reports 80% international exhibitor participation for the next edition, so many stands are staffed by teams working through interpreters with one attempt at the market.
Why this hall is hard to cover
Doors open at 4pm and close at 10pm. Three evenings gives you roughly eighteen trading hours, and footfall is bunched into the post-work peak rather than spread across a working day. The floor is also built to move people: the Wood Artisans Zone, live machinery demonstrations and the drilling challenge pull crowds into features and away from the stand rows. A team of two behind a counter will meet whoever happens to turn left.
What an Event BDR rep does here
- Works the timber, panel and machinery aisles instead of waiting at your stand.
- Opens in Arabic or English and separates specifier from buyer inside two questions.
- Records volumes, current supplier and buying window, not just a scanned badge.
- Walks qualified visitors back to your stand at an agreed time, or passes a written handover if they will not stop.
- Covers the feature zones during demonstrations, when senior buyers are standing still.

What Event BDR does at Saudi Wood Expo
We put checked, trained sales reps inside the exhibition for you. They cover the halls your own stand team cannot reach, check each visitor against the list you gave us, and either bring the right people to your stand or hand you a written record of who they were and what they are buying.
- Reps are interviewed and approved before they are bookable. There is no open signup.
- You tell them about your product and who you want to meet before the doors open.
- Leads and meetings land in a live feed during the show, with a recap at the end of each day.
- You pay for results: leads and meetings delivered, not hours spent standing at a stand.
Saudi Wood Expo exhibitor questions
Which product categories can we exhibit under?
The organiser lists adhesives and glues, furniture accessories and components, timber in hardwood and softwood, laminates, wood composites, wood windows and doors, flooring and decking, woodworking machinery, power tools, veneer, digitalisation, paint and coating, thermowood, and robotics and automation. The show is positioned for manufacturers, suppliers and distributors across the wood, construction, interiors and fit-out supply chain.
What buyer audience should our stand team be prepared for?
The organiser profiles an audience of more than 35,000 construction and industry professionals across over 37 job roles. Named buyer groups include agents and distributors, furniture manufacturers, woodworking and carpentry businesses, real estate developers, hospitality and interior designers, procurement and production managers, timber traders and government authorities.
Is the show run alongside another exhibition, and does that change our visitor flow?
Yes. The organiser states the show is co-located with Saudi Industrial Expo, and the 35,000-plus attendee figure it quotes is the combined audience across both. Expect traffic from industrial and manufacturing buyers as well as wood-sector visitors, which changes who your stand team should be briefed to qualify.
What hours does our stand need to be staffed?
The organiser publishes opening hours of 16:00 to 22:00 daily. Plan shift cover for evening trading rather than standard business hours, and factor that into hotel, transport and catering arrangements for staff.
Does the programme include live demonstrations our products could feature in?
Yes. The organiser runs a Wood Artisans Zone with a rotating programme of live showcases covering woodworking techniques, material handling and finishing processes, plus a Wood Design Trail in which exhibitors' wood solutions are presented to visitors on a guided route. Participation in these features is arranged directly with the organiser.
