Travel & Tourism

Arabian Travel Market took 14 halls at Dubai World Trade Centre in 2025, up from 12 the year before, and the floorplan is organised by region rather than by product. That is the defining fact for anyone selling here: buyers move through the halls that match their geography, so the ones you want are scattered across the building instead of clustered near your stand.

Who exhibits

2,800+ exhibitors took part in the 2025 edition: national tourism boards, hotel groups, airlines, DMCs, cruise lines and travel technology vendors. Every region grew year on year, Africa by 21%, Asia by 20%, the Middle East by 19% and Europe by 17%, with hotel exhibitors up 12%. Co-located content adds ATM Travel Tech, which RX put at 180+ exhibitors from 30 countries across two halls with an 850 square metre Tech and Innovation Hub, plus IBTM at ATM for the business events community and a Start-Up and Innovation Zone.

Who attends

55,000+ travel professionals from 166 countries attended in 2025, a 16% rise on the previous edition. Outside the UAE and the GCC, the largest registered visitor markets were India, Egypt, the UK, Türkiye and the United States. RX describes its buyers as senior travel industry decision-makers with direct purchasing responsibility across leisure, luxury, business events and corporate travel. In practice: contracting managers at tour operators and OTAs, corporate travel and MICE buyers, hotel commercial and revenue directors, airline network and partnerships leads, and destination marketing heads.

What our reps do at this show

  • Cover the regional halls your stand team will never physically reach in four days
  • Qualify walk-up traffic against your target markets so your senior people only take the meetings worth taking
  • Work the Buyers' Club and hosted buyer flow, and the aisles around the co-located business events and travel tech content
  • Log contracting-relevant detail, contract cycle, source market, volume, so follow-up starts warm

Why this floor is hard to cover

Fourteen halls over four days is more ground than any stand rota covers. The senior buying side largely arrives with a pre-booked diary; RX reported 57,869 confirmed meetings at the 2025 edition, which means the best-qualified attendees are already committed elsewhere when they pass your stand. Add a visitor base drawn from 166 countries with very different buying cycles, and coverage becomes a headcount problem, not an effort problem.

What Event BDR does at Arabian Travel Market

We put checked, trained sales reps inside the exhibition for you. They cover the halls your own stand team cannot reach, check each visitor against the list you gave us, and either bring the right people to your stand or hand you a written record of who they were and what they are buying.

  • Reps are interviewed and approved before they are bookable. There is no open signup.
  • You tell them about your product and who you want to meet before the doors open.
  • Leads and meetings land in a live feed during the show, with a recap at the end of each day.
  • You pay for results: leads and meetings delivered, not hours spent standing at a stand.

Arabian Travel Market exhibitor questions

How do we get meetings with buyers booked before we arrive?

ATM Meet is the official meetings platform: it lets exhibitors search for and connect with buyers ahead of the show and arrange meetings. The organiser does not release a buyer list, for data protection reasons, but buyers can be searched by region and company inside the platform. You can also invite your own clients and prospects to your stand through the My Invitations tab in the Exhibitor Portal.

Are hosted buyers actually obliged to meet exhibitors, and how are those appointments fixed?

Hosted buyers commit to a minimum of 35 appointments with exhibitors, and that requirement cannot be bundled — it must be met per day. All hosted buyers must use ATM Meet to secure their meetings, so anything arranged outside the platform does not count towards their minimum. They are also required to respond to exhibitor meeting requests promptly.

When can we start packing down, and does it differ for shell scheme?

No exhibits or stand fittings may be removed or dismantled before the exhibition closes at 17:00 on the final day, and breaching this may incur a fine. Dismantling begins at 17:30, once visitors have cleared the halls, and power is switched off at that point. Shell scheme stands are dismantled by the contractor from 20:00 that evening, so shell scheme exhibitors must remove all display material and products before then.

How do our stand staff get their badges?

You register e-badges through the Exhibitor Portal before the show for everyone working on your stand. Badges have to be downloaded onto a phone or printed at home before arrival to guarantee entry; if you use the printed version, a lanyard and badge holder are provided on arrival. The number of stand sharers you may register follows the allocation in your contract.

What stand options can we book, and how is the floor laid out?

There are three routes: a shell and furniture package with furniture and lighting included, SmartSpace as a bespoke design and build service, and space only, where you arrange your own design and construction. The exhibition floor is organised by region, so you choose your preferred location from the current floorplan. Compulsory indemnity and registration fees apply on top of the stand itself.

Can our own contractor rig banners or lighting above our stand?

No. The venue's experiential agency is the sole provider of all top and primary rigging, covering everything from hanging a banner to light grids and custom truss. Your stand contractor is your first point of contact for rigging, and only rated, approved hardware installed by certified teams is used.
