Exhibitor lead generation
Air Cargo Middle East Expo
A compact floor with a senior audience
Air Cargo Middle East Expo is a dmg events launch at Riyadh Front, run in cooperation with Messe München under the transport logistic Middle East licence and co-located with project cargo Middle East. At announcement the organiser projected 150-plus exhibitors from more than 20 countries and around 7,000 visitors. By exhibition standards that is small, and that is the difficulty: the accounts you want are all in the building for three days, and so is everyone else selling to them.
Who walks in
The organiser lists air cargo carriers, airport operators, cargo terminal managers, ground handlers, cold chain providers, customs authorities, freight forwarders, last-mile and e-commerce platforms, shippers, government authorities and supply chain strategists. The co-located project cargo and transport logistic content adds EPC contractors, free zone operators and port, rail and multimodal operators. Seniority skews high, and much of the room is Saudi, Gulf and wider Middle East, with European and Asian carriers and technology suppliers alongside.
Why the demand behind it is real
Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation reported more than 1.2 million tonnes of air cargo handled in 2024, up 34% year on year, with King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh accounting for 573,000 tonnes, Jeddah 461,000 and Dammam 140,000. The stated national ambition is 4.5 million tonnes by 2030. Handling, terminal and cold chain procurement at this show is budgeted rather than exploratory.
Why covering it is hard
Concentration, not size. Senior cargo buyers arrive as delegations, spend much of the day in conference sessions, site briefings and closed meetings, and cross the aisles in short bursts between them. Miss a fifteen-minute window and the account leaves the venue.
What an Event BDR rep does here
- Works a named-account list agreed with you, tracking who has arrived and who has not.
- Covers conference room entrances and networking areas at session breaks, where the delegations actually stand.
- Qualifies on tonnage, lane and terminal, and on whether the contact holds operational or commercial authority.
- Books diarised stand meetings instead of collecting cards, and briefs you before each one.

What Event BDR does at Air Cargo Middle East Expo
We put checked, trained sales reps inside the exhibition for you. They cover the halls your own stand team cannot reach, check each visitor against the list you gave us, and either bring the right people to your stand or hand you a written record of who they were and what they are buying.
- Reps are interviewed and approved before they are bookable. There is no open signup.
- You tell them about your product and who you want to meet before the doors open.
- Leads and meetings land in a live feed during the show, with a recap at the end of each day.
- You pay for results: leads and meetings delivered, not hours spent standing at a stand.
Air Cargo Middle East Expo exhibitor questions
How is the exhibition space laid out, and how much room is there?
The exhibition space is four ground-floor halls totalling 39,350 square metres: 9,350, 9,250, 10,400 and 9,350, all with a 10 m clear height. Halls combine into larger spaces, giving spans from 18,600 to 19,750 square metres. A separate 1,000 square metre VIP lounge sits on the first floor with a lower 3 m height.
Can we bring heavy or oversized equipment directly into the hall for our stand?
Yes. The venue provides drive-in access to all exhibition halls, intended for unloading or for displaying vehicles on stand. Heavy or oversized exhibits such as ground handling equipment, unit load devices or vehicles can therefore be driven straight into the hall rather than carried in through a concourse. Combined with the 10 m clear height, this suits large physical exhibits.
Is there enough parking for our stand team and the customers we invite?
Yes. The venue lists more than 5,500 free parking spaces, including accessible parking close to the entry points, plus additional parking that brings the site total to more than 7,500. Valet parking can also be provided at the organiser's request.
How will our staff get to and from the stand for shift changes?
By road only. The venue states that public transportation to it is currently not available, so plan around driving, taxis or ride-hailing apps rather than any rail or bus connection. It sits on the airport road minutes from the international airport and less than 30 minutes from the city centre, and organisers may be able to arrange shuttle services — worth asking about if you are running split shifts.
